Felicitation at International Tribal Culture Festival

Gramin Mahila Vikas Sansthan (GMVS) was felicitated for its remarkable contribution at the International Tribal Culture Festival held in Jaipur. The organisation was felicitated by the Chief Guest Union Minister of State, Tribal Affairs Ministry, Mr Durgadas Uikey, and Revenue Minister of Rajasthan Government, Mr Hemant Meena, by presenting a certificate to the GMVS Secretary, Mr Shankar Singh Rawat.

The festival, which brought together various tribal cultures from across the country, celebrated the rich cultural heritage and artistic traditions of the tribal communities. This recognition to GMVS highlights its continuous efforts to promote the welfare and development of tribal women and empower them through various social and economic initiatives.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Rawat expressed his gratitude to the dignitaries and emphasized the organization’s commitment to continue its work for the upliftment of tribal communities. This honour serves as an inspiration to further strengthen their initiatives to empower women and preserve tribal culture.

The event included various cultural performances, handicraft display and participation of several social organisations and government departments, which highlighted the importance of tribal development and cultural preservation.
