Objectives
What we set out to do
- To assist villagers in arranging clean drinking water in problem villages
- To help villagers maintain good health by creating awareness and taking mother-and-child welfare programmes to villages
- To inspire rural women to take part in their own development and make them self-reliant through training in self-employment
- To bring knowledge of modern technology to farmers and motivate them towards agriculture
- To create awareness among youth about computer education
- To link rural women with insurance and reduce risk
- To create awareness among people to prevent child labour
- To make information on MNREGA available and create awareness about it
- To motivate people towards animal husbandry
- To create awareness about the importance of vegetation for environment conservation
- To impart knowledge on soil conservation and new techniques to villagers
- To run women and child development programmes and organise meetings to create awareness
- To establish schools and libraries for better education
- To cooperate in promoting rural handicraft and arrange loans, as per rules, for activities related to khadi and village industries
- To carry out extension activities related to the organisation’s objectives, publish and print books and establish libraries
